The structure of the conference will be as follows:

DAY 1 – Friday 1st September 2017

CONFERENCE OPENS
VENUE: “The Edge”, State Library, Southbank, Brisbane

  • 8.30am to 5.30pm – Plenary sessions framing the New Economy Conference – please visit our growing list of confirmed plenary speakers by clicking here
    * People will be invited to use the noticeboards at the conference to start listing open space sessions they wish to host on Day 2 and Day 3 of the Conference
  • 6pm to 9pm – Conference Dinner, Southbank (cost and booking details available soon)

DAY 2 – Saturday 2nd September 2017

VENUE: Various rooms, Griffith University Southbank Campus – details will be available in the program, late June

  • 8.30am to 9.30am – open mic session for people who want to ‘pitch’ their unconference sessions
  • 9.30am to 4pm – Various streams of workshops, breakout sessions, presentations, meetings, games etc
  • 4pm to 8.30pm – site visit and bush foods dinner with Food Connect (cost and booking details available soon)

DAY 3 – Sunday 3rd September 2017

9.30 to 12.00 – Various streams of workshops, breakout sessions, presentations, etc
(VENUE: various rooms, Griffith University Southbank Campus)

1.30 to 4pm – Plenary sessions, closing the New Economy Conference
(VENUE: “The Edge”, State Library, Southbank)
