About the Hub
The goals of the NENA Localisation Hub are:
- To enable NENA members around Australia to meet via the internet, or in person, for discussions about building local and place based economies, and to provide mutual support to each other and our projects
- To provide an avenue for members of the Hub to share information, resources, news
- To enable members to make time and space to develop collaborative projects where appropriate
- To provide information about localisation in the New Economy to the broader NENA network via the website, social media and webinars
- To provide input about localisation in the new economy, into the NENA Annual Strategy

Upcoming Events
'Mapping Localisation and The New Economy in Australia' - hosted by NENA's Localisation Hub and Local Futures
Are you involved in a new economy or localisation project? If so, we'd love to hear from you!
In 2025 the Localisation Hub and Local Futures are planning to run a series of webinars where people working in the new economy and/or localisation space in Australia can share their stories, successes and challenges.
As well as providing an opportunity for people already working in this space to connect and collaborate, the webinars will also deliver some key framing of 'localisation' and 'new economy' concepts. Together we will explore how these intersecting movements are taking shape in Australia.
If this sounds relevant to you, we'd be grateful if you could please complete our short survey.
